Dr. Patrick Wu graduated with BDS in 1991 and became a specialist in Prosthodontics in 2003. He has been in private practice for nearly 30 years and is currently an honorary consultant in Prosthodontics at the Hong Kong Hospital Authority. Soon after his graduation, he became a part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Hong Kong. He has trained undergraduate and postgraduate students, dental surgery assistants, hygienists as well as technicians. Throughout his professional career, he has accumulated vast experience in conventional implant prosthodontics as well as implant rehabilitation of maxillofacial defects of tumor-resected patients, including implant-retained ocular prosthesis and fibular graft reconstruction. Over the past decade, Dr. Wu has been focusing on the management of complex implant failure cases and restorations utilizing CAD/CAM technology. Finally, with his clinical experience, he has presented in multiple world meetings on the topics of immediate loading and immediate implantation of single tooth implants.
